Honduras ‘Silver Hills’ beans have a smooth texture with subtle undertones of nuts and honey giving this coffee a lightly sweet taste. Its flavor also includes a pinch of tamarind fruit or lemony zest, nutty almond, coconut, and a mild cocoa finish. It is mildly roasted making a brew with an excellent taste and aroma.
These beans are grown near the Honduran capital city of Tegucigalpa, which means 'Silver Hill.' While Honduras has always been known for its coffee, its improved coffee standards and coffee practices have made this gourmet coffee one of the most noteworthy coffees in Central America. The beans are grown at above 4,500 feet and is classified as Strictly High-Grown beans. This means that the beans are more dense and flavorful than your average coffee beans.
